Following a nationwide medical conference, the WIRB-Copernicus Group (WCG) hosted a corporate winter wonderland-themed party at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. The venue was selected due to its history in Baltimore as well as its beauty, classic interior and cozy environment for a party set in the middle of winter.

Guests boarded transportation from the conference center to the event. During the ride, an onboard host shared fun, historic facts about the hotel, the city of Baltimore and the client company, WCG. Magically, snow flurries started falling as the 600+ guests began to arrive at the hotel.

In keeping with the winter wonderland theme, ASE decorated the event space with ice — two 12-foot ice bars etched with the WCG logo, hanging giant ice cubes behind the live band, ice luges for cocktails and a winter tree branch centerpiece at the bar. The décor also included custom Lucite pieces to create the illusion of even more ice.

Linens in hues of blue and winter white helped set the mood as snowflake lighting glistened from above. WCG corporate branding was reflected throughout the space on custom seating, pillows and ottomans set in front of warm fireplaces.

Bartenders poured signature Blue Snowflake-tinis while gourmet chefs prepared dishes at each station, featuring upscale winter comfort food likes short ribs and potpie. The service staff played a huge part too, wearing a custom uniform of vests and hats.

At the end of the magical winter night, guests were served hot chocolate in logo-branded hot cups and snowflake cookies for their ride home. As they walked out the door, everyone was gifted with a custom-made, WCG-branded gloves and reversible hat set — ideal for Mother Nature’s Baltimore winter wonderland.
