For NYC couple Jill and Rob, a classic Jewish family wedding in their home city would make for the perfect start to their lives together. Allison Sargent Events sourced the most luxurious venues in the city before recommending the Pierre Hotel — a timeless destination spot right on Central Park’s doorstep and steps away from Fifth and Madison Avenues.
Once the location was set, ASE coordinated every detail from invitation design and guest accommodations to menu selection for the day-after brunch.
The night before the big day, the rehearsal dinner took place at Todd English Food Hall at the Plaza Hotel. Guests feasted on the couple’s favorite Italian food with food demos from celebrity chefs. After a delectable meal, Jill and Rob wanted to celebrate the father of the bride on his recent retirement, so they surprised him with a custom 3D cake replica of his cherished Mercedes sports car.
For their wedding day, the couple agreed on a classic NYC wedding full of lush flowers. ASE designed a chuppah full of soft white, cream and green florals. The entrance of the aisle was adorned with tall branches and hydrangea, roses and orchids. And when collecting their table assignment in the iconic Pierre Hotel entrance, guests were also greeted with a stunning 10-foot floral arrangement.
The reception was fully customized with lighting, monogramming and the couple’s personal touches. Because of the groom’s love for great specialty beer, ASE created “Rob’s beer garden” with a variety of specialty beers from around the world for guests to taste and enjoy. The new Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz also shared a love for Star Wars. Guests were given popcorn in a custom tin reading "May the Schwartz be with you.”
After an evening of delectable cuisine, live music and a custom cake by Silvia Weinstock, the couple and their guests closed out the celebration with a luxurious brunch at the hotel the following morning.
